
Before becoming separated from a strong four-person party, players can farm experience from difficult enemies called Raging Bears near Hero's Rest. Leaving and returning to this section of the level will cause the Balm Grass to respawn, so players can fill their inventory with it for future use.


A small clearing past a wooden bridge on that path leads to a grove filled with Balm Grass, a healing item. To mitigate the difficulty of any part of The Middle Ages story, an area just beyond the fork in the road between Hero's Rest and Fugalia Village has a useful collection of items. However, it is best to keep in mind that much like how the player can recruit O-Robo in the Twilight of Edo Japan chapter, many of these allies will not be available in the party for the final boss fight itself. Utilizing their prowess in combat to help level up the main protagonist Oersted is vital to building up enough skills and abilities to take on the final boss. The Middle Ages chapter boasts incredibly helpful allies, ranging from the powerful mage Streibough to the healer Uranus and the former great hero Hassshe.
